About the EMC

The Edinburgh Mountaineering Club (EMC) welcomes experienced hillwalkers and climbers who enjoy being out in the hills. We have regular weekend meets, mainly in the Scottish Highlands. During the winter months these are based in huts; during the summer, they are a mixture of hut and camping meets. There's a regular pub night on the first Thursday of the month, at The Oxford Bar, 8 Young Street, Edinburgh (Young Street runs parallel to Rose Street, on the other side of George Street. The Oxford Bar is at the Charlotte Square end.) from 9pm onwards.
